At least 5 killed during Israeli raid in occupied West Bank

TEHRAN, May 04 (MNA) – Five people have been reportedly killed by Israeli forces during a raid on the town of Deir al-Ghusun in Tulkarem district, the Palestinian Health Ministry has said.

Four of those killed were between the ages of 32 and 45, the ministry added.

The report comes hours after Israeli forces withdrew from Deir al-Ghusun, after a deadly 15-hour raid, according to Al Jazeera.

Israeli raids in the occupied West Bank have intensified since the war on Gaza started on October 7. More than 7,000 Palestinians have been detained or arrested in the territory since then.

Israel waged a genocidal war on the besieged Gaza on October 7 after the Palestinian Hamas Resistance group carried out a historic operation against the occupying entity in retaliation for the regime’s intensified atrocities against the Palestinian people.

At least 34,596 Palestinians have been killed and 77,816 wounded in Israeli attacks on Gaza since October 7.

Israel has imposed a complete siege on the densely populated territory, cutting off fuel, electricity, food, and water to the more than two million Palestinians living there.
